Ppl dont seem to realise that “only perceivably queer people should have access to queer spaces and support” and “nobody is obligated to out themselves to you and nobody needs to provide proof of their sexuality/identity” CANNOT coexist.
People are very quick to say “nobody should ever be forced out of the closet, there is no one way to be queer” but then throw a fit when someone who isnt visibly gay plays a gay character or when someone who isnt officially out acts in a ~queer way~.

that post about tumblr being better for artists than twitter on an engagement numbers level is crazy. why are we lying
the ONLY thing tumblr can do is keep older art circulating longer, bc tumblr is better for artists in terms of archiving. but on a pure “flash in the pan engagement get your art noticed by as many people as possible fast, get you potential business out of it” level twitter is leagues better
like dont get it twisted im thankful for any and all engagement i get on art posts but as someone who makes part of my living from art, historically posting art on twitter has gotten me money and posting art on tumblr has gotten me people tagging 5 year old drawings with the names of their OCs
